The Seattle Sounders stayed atop the MLS West with a relatively easy win over a depleted and exhausted Real Salt Lake on Wednesday night. RLS who is on a brutal road schedule ran into the buzzsaw that is the Seattle Sounders as they dominated in all aspects of the game. If not for a 68th minute own goal, this should have been a shutout.

The game started off with poking and prodding as the 1st half only saw 4 shots per team. However, the MLS would see some more Jordan Morris magic as he would score for the 2nd time in 2 games. In the 28th minute, Nico Lodeiro would scoot a pass to Christian Roldan on the right side of the field that would be redirected to Morris in the box for the easy goal.
