The Seattle Seahawks decided to give the national audience a show in the 2nd half and give the Seahawks fans a heart attack yet again on their way to a 5-0 . The Minnesota Vikings utterly dominated the Seahawks in the 1st half as they rant he ball down the Seahawks throats for a 13-0 lead in the 1st half. However, the 2nd half is when the Seahawks would take advantage of the Vikings mistakes.
The Seahawks offense was pretty spotty on Sunday as Chris Carson had just 8 carries but he manage an amazing 29 yard touchdown run in the 3rd quarter that sparked the teams comeback. And that was the general flow of the game as the Hawks managed to have very little offense but they made the most of it.
For example, Russell Wilson was sacked 4 times and went 0-7 on 3rd downs. However, he did manage 3 TDs including beautiful quick-strike passes to Will Dissley and DK Metcalf to give the Seahawks the lead.
Seattle’s defense dealt with the same thing, giving up over 200 yards in rushing yards, but on 4th and inches stopping the Vikings dead in their tracks. The defense would allow 249 yards in the air, but KJ Wright would change the flow of the game with a key interception to give the Seahawks the momentum they needed to turn the tide.
