#15 University of Washington middle linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven has earned, for the 2nd time this year, the Lott Trophy National Defensive Player of the Week. The senior leads all of the NCAA with 108 tackles and last Saturday he collected a game sealing 4th quarter interception that gave UW a 27-13 win over Colorado.

Earlier this year, he had a 20 tackle performance against Arizona State and won the Lott Trophy for the 1st time.

The 6′ 222lb LB is making a name for himself and is the immediate front runner for Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. He is listed on a lot of draft boards in the 1st round and with a future show down against Washington State University in the Apple Cup, he looks to help UW win another Pac-12 title.
