A week after a frustrating loss to Auburn, the Washington Huskies took on the North Dakota Hawks in warmup to Pac-12 play. The Huskies stated off slow with just a 17-0 lead at the half. As the game wore on, the Huskies would destroy the visiting Hawks with a 28-3 run in the 2nd half.

Jake Browning had an solid day. He went 23-37 for 312 yards and 2 TD. He would also throw 2 picks in the game but it genrally did not hurt the team on this day.

Miles Gaskin struggled with just 53 yards on 15 attempts; however, his hard nosed grinding play allowed Savon Ahmed to explode with 44 yards on 4 carries.

It would be the defense who carried the day as North Dakota’s QB Nate Ketteringham was held to just 96 yards passing. As well, for the second game in a row, the defense was tough as nails in the red zone keeping North Dakota to just 3 points.
