The Seattle Sounders defense showed holes in their game, but the offense made mincemeat out of the Galaxy defense to the tune a 4-3 win. The game actually started off pretty slow as both teams felt out each other with a lone goal from Raul Ruidiaz in extra time in the 1st half.

A scary incident in the 40th minute saw Jordy Delem and Xavier Arreaga collided causing Delem to leave the game due to injury. The crowd went stunningly quiet as Delem was attended to on the field by medical staff. Newly acquired midfielder Emanuel Cecchini came into the game and delveloped instant chemistry with Chritaian Roldan. The Argentinian coordinated with Roldan in the 55th minute and 89th minute to help Roldan earn a brace for the game.

The Galaxy however are not an easy out. They would respond to the Sounders in the 6th, 75th, and 81st minutes in a series of counter punches to fight off the Rave Green. Ultimately, the Sounders were relentless as they were in last week’s Timbers game and have achieved an identity as an offensive juggernaut who will outscore teams.
