For the 9th time this season the Seattle Sounders failed to score. Luckily for the Rave Green the New England Revolution had their own problems as they couldn’t seem to mount much of an attack.  The Sounders managed just 6 shots to the Revs 9; however, both teams managed just on shot on target a piece.

The abysmal game was essentially a win for the Revs as they continue their streak of unbeaten games to 7.  The Sounders though needs wins if they are to make up ground from the cellar of the Western Conference.

The Sounders only real attempt came off a 73rd minute long shot from Nicolas Lodeiro, which would be either teams 1st shot on target in the game.

If any positive can be gleamed from this encounter I the emergence of center  back Kim Kee-Hee who had his best game in the last 9 consecutive starts. Kee-Hees performance will make it a tough decision for coach Brian Schmetzer as to who starts when Roman Torres returns from World Cup.
