Sounders lose 2-0 to RSL leaving many to wonder where the wins will come from

The Seattle Sounders dropped a match to Real Salt Lake 2-0 on Saturday breaking their unbeaten streak at 13.  The question now is after 4 straight draws and a loss, when will the Rave Green win again? Prior to the game, the Sounders sat precariously near the top of the table, but this loss has dropped them into a tie for 4th place.

Before this match, the Sounders didn’t score any goals against FC Dallas and now one wonders if losing Jordan Morris has dramatically impacted the offense.

The Sounders appeared to hold stride with the RSL in Sandy, UT. They had a nominal advantage in passing accuracy, total shots as well as on target shots (5-4). None of this mattered as RSL’s Albert Rusnak would place a through ball off Jefferson Savrino’s foot for a 52nd minute goal. Luke Mulholland would put the game away in the 66th with a second goal, and RSL are now looking like players in the playoffs as they are now above the red line.
