Nick named “The Bartender” after he quit professional baseball and bar-tended from 2005-2009, before returning to the game in 2010. Once the team’s closer, Tom now serves as a set-up man for current closer Fernando Rodney. After a down 2013, which included a demotion to AAA, he fired off a solid 2014, reharnessing the skills that allowed him to collect 54 saves in the past three seasons.
