Drafted by the Mariners in the 3rd round of the 2009 MLB draft, he rose quickly through the minor system. In 2011, he was promoted to the majors and immediately made an impact. Last season he was awarded his first Gold Glove, one of many to come.

Random Fact:

Kyle has two younger brothers that have been drafted by Major League teams as well. His other brother Justin is working his way up the Mariner’s system, and should be starting with Clinton Single A this year.
