Seahawks put together best effort, come up short 33-31 to Rams

@seattletimes.com

The LA Rams came into Centurylink and showed why they are the favorites to earn the NFC West title. The Seattle Seahawk held the game close only to lose 33-31 in the this knock down dragout game.

The Hawks got their 3rd straight 100+ yard rushing yard effort in a row–last year they did not even have one. Chris Carson went 19-116 on the day and Mike Davis added 12 of 68 to the cause.

Russell Wilson would accrue 3 TDs and the Hawks would show their offensive acumen as potent this day.

Unfortunately, the Rams would do better as Todd Gurley would run for 3 TDs and Jared Goff would throw foe 321 yards to edge the visitors over the precipice of defeat and pull out the win.
