The Seattle Sounders are still unbeaten as they took it to Orlando City SC on Wednesday night for a 2-1 victory. In his 1st full star from returning from injury, Raul Ruidiaz put the ball in net in the 19th minute as Brad Smith and Harry Shipp conspired to setup the tap in score by Raul for the go ahead goal.

Jordan Morris was on fire with shots abound including a chance just before halftime when he took a Smith lead in for a header that just missed the cross bar. The hometown fans however soon would shudder just 5 minutes after the beginning of the 2nd half as Morris would pull up off what looked like a hamstring injury.

The concern still lingers, but replacement Handwalla Bwana would replace Jordan and find a Nico Lodeiro cross pass and volley it off his shin for a game winning 68th minute goal.

The Rave Green were on short notice with a game just this last weekend; however, the game proceeded as planned with utter dominance. The Sounders are still undefeated and welcome back Ruidiaz on the attack.

The Morris injury is of concern as the Rave Green are being referred to as “Hamstrung FC” with 3 starters inured in  Morris, Gustav Svensson, and Victor Rodriguez. The great news however is that in addition to Ruidiaz’s return, old friend Jovein Jones is back to secure the defense.
