Men of Troy bow down to Washington a Huskies win 75-62

Undefeated in PAC12 play, the Washington Huskies took down the USC Trojans 75-62 on Wednesday night. The Huskies stormed out to a 13-4 start and never looked back. The Trojans would cut the lead to 3 points with 17:11 on the clock in the 2nd half, but that is as close it would get as the Dawgs put the foot to the peddle for the rest of the game.

USC forward Bennie Boatwright had been a holy terror to the Huskies in recent years coming up with win after win over the Purple and Gold. The 6’10 senior was a tough again as he put up 24 points on his rival. 6’11 junior Nick Rakocevic would add 16 and pull in 10 rebounds; however, the Husky zone defense would stymie the rest of the visiting USC squad as no other players would score in the double digits.

UW was led by senior Noah Dickerson who went 7-10 from the field and 7-10 from the free throw line scoring 21 points. He would have 14 rebounds and a block to finish off his night. Senior Mattise Thybulle would nab 7 steals and score 17 as he was in his usual lockdown mode. Guards David Crisp and Jaylen Nowell would add 15 and 12 apiece in this cruise control game.
