The University of Washington got a monster game from big man Noah Dickerson in the paint to stave off the feisty Oregon State Beavers on Wednesday night. OSU would not take a hint and battled all night long forcing the Huskies to bite, scratch, and claw their way to a overtime victory.
OSU struggled to stop Dickerson all night often doubling down on him to prevent the inside presence. They did force 5 turnovers off Noah; however, the senior got the last laugh as he pulled down 17 rebounds, forcing 2 blocks and grabbing 2 steals. While his defense and rebounding was on point, he hit 8-13 for 22 points, his most since November when he scored 28 against Minnesota.
David Crisp also scored 28 points on the night including going 4-5 from 3 point land. Crisp scored a key 3 pointer with 48 seconds on the clock in OT.
Matisse Thybulle forced a key jump ball in OT and procured 4 more steals. Thybulle broke his own school record for steals in a year now at 104. With 3.4 steals per game, Thybulle is national leader in steals per game and total steals.
