Bulldogs bow down to Dante Pettis as he scores 4 TDs enroute to a Husky 48-10 win.
The University of Washington Huskeis scored 27 in the 1st quarter to demolish the Fresno State Bulldogs by a final score of 48-10. This game was highlighted by a 78 yard punt return, a return which would see Austin Pettis tie the NCAA career punt returns for TD record.

Dante Pettis was everywhere tonight, while setting records, he even got a chance to show off his throwing arm. Early in the 1st quarter, Coach Chris Petersen showed some razzle dazzle as lateral from QB Jake Browning would find Austin Pettis in the flat; Austin would then hurl the ball to Bryant for a 36 yard gain.

But the touchdowns rained for Pettis as he collected 4 throughout the game. As dynamic as John Ross was last year, Pettis is hellbent on one upping the former All American.

Jake Browing went 19-22 for 255 yards and 4 touchdowns and was replaced by Kijana Carta Samuels. In fact the purple and gold faithful would see a heavy dose of the future as 1/2 way through the 3rd quarter most of the regulars were taken out. This bodes well for a team that faces their toughest challenge of the year in Colorado next week.
